Founded in Melbourne in 2016 by artist Emily May and business partner Sidonie Moore, The Nonsense Maker brings imagination, humour and a little magic to everyday life. Emily creates the whimsical illustrations, inspired by Melbourne’s hidden laneways, dreamlike worlds and her adventurous alter ego, while Sidonie brings the business know-how that helps turn the nonsense into greeting cards, art prints, tea towels and gifts.

Melbourne-based artist and illustrator Anna Seed creates whimsical watercolour and ink illustrations inspired by Australian wildlife, folklore and classic storybooks. Created by Australian illustrator Stephanie “Avi” Avila Gray, Erlenmeyer is a whimsical stationery and giftware brand centred around a storytelling animal kingdom. Founded in Melbourne in 2014 by artist Sarah Hardy, Popcorn Blue celebrates the beauty, humour and personality of Australian wildlife. Sarah’s detailed hand-drawn illustrations bring native animals and birds to life across greeting cards, art prints, games, tea towels and gifts, with a strong focus on Australian-made and environmentally responsible production.

Victorian wood artisan Steve Innes creates distinctive handmade bird sculptures inspired by Australia’s native birdlife. Working with sustainable timber, he combines bold colour, abstract forms and playful pop-art character to craft each piece individually in his rural Victorian studio.
